Cassius Vaughan (DB, Memphis, TN) - Scout.com's #20 cornerback in the South took an official visit with the University of Mississippi this past weekend. We called to see how his visit went.

The following information was revealed during our interview with Cassius Vaughan:

How did your trip to Ole Miss go? "I loved the trip. It was amazing because all of the new things I saw. All of the education programs and everything they are going to provide us. I am just ready to play some football and get my degree at Ole Miss."

Did anyone accompany you? "My mom, dad, and step dad came with me."

What did they think? "They loved the program. They were just happy to be down there and happy I am going there. All of their staff just made me feel like family."

Was the trip better/worse/or about what you were expecting? "It was way better because everything was more organized, and I got to see what I am going to be doing down there."

Did this visit solidify your commitment? "I know I made the right decision now. It is over with. I am going to Ole Miss. I am going to be an Ole Miss Rebel. There is no reason for me to take anymore visits."

Did you get a chance to recruit any of the players who were there with you? "Yes sir. Me and LaDerrick Vaughn and Terry Levy were doing our best. We worked on Don Mosely pretty good. We all talked about playing together and getting to know each other better. The TE from California was very supportive of the program too. I think we are going to get a lot of the players who visited last weekend."

Did you discuss the position you are going to play at Ole Miss during your meeting with Coach Orgeron? "DB and WR, but I think I will end up at cornerback. I will be ready for it. I am going to get over there in June so I can get an early start. I just want to do anything I can to help the team out."

Cassius carries a 2.7 Core GPA.
