The following information was revealed during our interview with Dexter McCluster:

What are your strengths on the field? "I think my field vision, speed and determination."

What are you working on for the next level? "Right now, I just started back running and lifting. I had to let my body heel from the season. I just want to get as strong as I can for next season."

What were your stats from this past season? "In the regular season, I had 2, 002 yards and 34 TD's. Including the 3 playoff games, I had 2, 490 yards and 39 TD's."

Did you take an official visit to Ole Miss this past weekend? "Yes sir. It was good. Oxford is not a big town, but it is perfect. The people there are so friendly. The players are friendly. Dustin Mouzon was my host. He was great. The coaching staff was great. I love it up there."

Was the trip better/worse/or about what you were expecting? "It was a lot better then what I was expecting. It was my first official visit. It was awesome, just everything about Ole Miss I liked."

Did anyone accompany you on your trip? "My father came with me."

What were his thoughts about Ole Miss? "My dad loved it. He actually made a comment to me that if it were up to him, he would be at Ole Miss, but he is going to leave the decision to me."

What new did you learn about Ole Miss during your trip? "I learned that the whole staff's main goal is to win. I like how they are all about winning at Ole Miss. They want you to get your degree and win big. That is all they care about, winning. I love being around people with a winning attitude. I believe in their staff. I believe in what they are doing. I know they are about to win big, real big."

What did you enjoy the most during your official visit to Ole Miss? "Well, actually, it was Saturday night. It was our last night there. They picked us up in a bus and took a drive to their stadium. We went into the locker room, and they gave me a jersey with my number on it, 22. I put it on and we ran through their tunnel out on to the field. I got chills thinking about 65, 000 plus in that stadium. They have a beautiful stadium and a state of an art indoor complex that connects to it. I do not know, it just felt big time up there."

How did your meeting with Coach Orgeron go? "It went great. He was straight forward. He is looking for players to work hard and are dedicated to football. I let him know that I am very interested in his program. I just liked it up there a whole lot."

Where does Ole Miss now stand with you? "They are very high in the ranking. I was committed to South Florida before I came on that trip, but it is dead even now."

Are there anymore schools in the picture? "Well besides them two, West Virginia and Florida mainly."

Have each of these colleges offered you a scholarship? "Yes sir, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Florida, and South Florida have offered."

Where do you visit next? "As of right now, I have two more lined up. I am going to West Virginia (1/13) and South Florida (1/20). I am not sure if I am going on my Florida visit or not."

Have you told the South Florida that you are no longer committed? "I talked to them today. I told them that I liked it a lot up at Ole Miss, and they showed me some things I have not seen before. I told them it was pretty close."
