Parade All-American switches to Ole Miss

Marcus Tillman (DE, Franklin County, MS) - Mississippi's lone Parade All-American has decided to switch his commitment from LSU to Ole Miss.

"After giving this a lot of thought, I just think it is in my best interest to go to Ole Miss. I want to thank LSU for showing me a lot of class throughout this whole recruiting process. They were always helpful and showed me a lot of love, but I just think Ole Miss is the best fit for me. Having the opportunity to being coached by Coach Orgeron, who coached Cortez Kennedy, Russell Maryland, Warren Sapp, Shaun Cody and Mike Patterson, was just too good to pass up. I felt the most comfortable at Ole Miss while I was on my official visit too. Both colleges are great schools, but I could only pick one of them and that school is going to be Ole Miss," commented the relieved Marcus Tillman.

Marcus had 68 tackles, 8 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries for the season. He was named 1st Team All-State, Dandy Dozen, and was also named the #5 Most Wanted prospect in the state of Mississippi by the Clarion Ledger.

Tillman marks Ole Miss' 25th commitment for the February class. They signed 4 in December. The Rebel's class is currently ranked #10 in the nation by

Marcus carries a 3.3 GPA / 19 ACT.
