Robert Elliott, III, got an early offer from Ole Miss, and another from Mississippi State.
The Okolona (MS) native jumped at the opportunity to be a Rebel.
"I like the caoching staff at Ole Miss and the new facility is one of the best in the country. I like what is happening at Ole Miss and want to be a part of it," said Elliott.
Elliott became the fourth commitment for 2007, joining South Panola LB Chris Strong, Trinity Episcopal Day School RB/LB Stevan Ridley and South Panola FB Jeramie Griffin on the quickly-growing list.
Elliott gained 1,818 yards and scored 20 touchdowns his junior season for Okolona.
He is 6-1 and weighs 187 pounds.
"I have good speed, quickness and vision," he said, in assessing his talents. "I want to fill out some before I get to Ole Miss, but I'm happy where I am right now at this stage of my career."
