Bradley Sowell attends Ole Miss scrimmage
"It was a wake-up call," added the 6' 7", 350 pound Bradley Sowell. "The pace was pretty fast. I did not know that it was that fast. They look like they have a good program. Their coaches look like they work them pretty hard."
Now that Bradley has had a chance to eye ball his future competition; what are his thoughts?
"I just know I have a real good shot. I know their line needs some help. I did not know their numbers were that low. I saw two consistent linemen. I am pretty excited about the opportunity I have in front of me."
What are some of the areas Sowell will have to improve on to play for Ole Miss?
"I need to get in a lot better shape. They never have a break in practice. I just need to work on my conditioning, and that is pretty much it.""
Did Bradley get a chance to speak with Coach Orgeron at the scrimmage?
"Yes sir, I actually sat in their offensive line meeting with Coach Kehoe. Coach Orgeron came in there and told me that he really needed me bad, and that it is going to be wide open when I got down there. He told me to be ready to make an impact. Coach (Orgeron) told me that he really liked my feet. He said I have unbelievable footwork for someone my size."
Early commitments are still open game for most college competitors. Nothing is different with Bradley's recruitment.
"Auburn and Florida have really stayed on me to come to their Jr Days, but I am not going. I really quit opening up the other school's letters lately. I am pretty committed to Ole Miss."
Sowell carries a 3.2 GPA / 18 ACT.
Bradley will participate in the scout.com combine that is being held at Ole Miss on April 30th.
