Johnathan Frink talks about OM Spring game
One of the heads he turned was Ole Miss', as the Rebels offered Frink a scholarship.
Ole Miss asked Johnathan to commit when they gave him a scholarship offer.
"We have talked about it several times. I just tell them that I am still thinking about it and that they are first on my list, but I want to see what happens during my senior year," added Johnathan Frink.
Frink had a chance to take in the Ole Miss Spring game on Saturday. How did the visit go?
"It was great. I got to see their defense in action. They did good, especially their first team. I liked it. It was fun. I also got a chance to meet my competition. I met some of the guys they are recruiting at my position like Chris Strong and Chris Walker. They were cool. We exchanged phone numbers. I am going to keep up with them."
What did the Ole Miss coaches say to Frink during his visit?
"They told me what good things will come if I committed. They said I would play linebacker. That was my main concern with Ole Miss. I did not know which position I would play. They said they would put some weight on me and put me at OLB or MLB. That is what I want to play. I really prefer not to play safety."
What other colleges are keeping in contact with Johnathan?
"MSU and Kentucky. I talked to Coach Pietry at Kentucky the other day. He said they were going to be keeping an eye on me. I have not talked to the MSU coaches on the phone yet, but they send me a lot of letters. I called Coach Freeze (OM) last night, and he wanted to know when spring training starts. He said they were going to come to one of my practices."
Johnathan will attend the scout combine at Ole Miss on April 30th.
