"My vision makes me the back I am. I have great quickness and speed, but you have to see and feel the holes to be a big time back. I also feel like I have sneaky power. I break a lot of tackles, and I am a north/south runner. I do not do a lot of dancing around."
Robert committed to Ole Miss back in early February, but he recently received a written scholarship offer from FSU.
Is Elliott still firm with his commitment to the University of Mississippi?
"I am solid with my commitment."
What is the number one reason why Robert stays committed to the Rebels?
"Their coaches and how they treat me. They were the first school to offer me. That has had a big impact with me. To know they were with me from day one. They were the first school to send me a letter too. I do not know. It is just that relationship I have with their coaches."
There was a report recently that Robert's head coach stated that while Robert was still committed, he is still "open" in the recruiting process.
"What he meant is that I am committed to Ole Miss, but I am still taking some looks to other schools."
Any particular schools in mind?
"No, I am not looking at any one school. You know, I am happy with my choice with Ole Miss, but at the same time, I am just not shutting all of the doors. But I really do not see anyone beating Ole Miss out. I am happy with my decision."
When does Spring practice start for Okolona?
We start practice this Friday."
What are Robert's goals for Spring practice?
"I just want to work on everything. I mean everything. You can never be good enough. Techniques will be the main thing."
What is Robert' current size?
"They measured me at a little over 6'
1", 192 at Alabama's A-Day game."
Has Elliott been anywhere else to visit this Spring?
"I have been over to Ole Miss for Jr Day and a few of their practices, and I went to MSU's Jr Day."
Will Robert take anymore Spring visits?
"No, I am pretty much done. I am going to Texas A&M this Saturday for their (Nike) Combine, and I am going over to Ole Miss for their (Scout) combine next Sunday. That will pretty much be it."
Robert carries a 3.2 Core GPA and took the ACT test for the first time this past Saturday.
