K.J. Wright picks up three new offers
"Arkansas, USM, and South Carolina offered me this summer. USM and South Carolina have not gotten it in writing, but they said they were going to do it. I guess you can say theirs are verbal. Arkansas sent in their papers a couple weeks back. Ole Miss and MSU sent me their offer in writing back in February," stated K.J. Wright.
When did Arkansas and South Carolina enter the race?
"They came by my school towards the end of the school year. We talked about their schools, and they watched me practice."
Which colleges have shown the most consistency in their recruitment of K.J.?
"They all text me to call them. They pretty much all the same, equally. They all are equal."
Which colleges are now at the top of Wright's list?
"Those five schools who have offered me."
What does K.J. like about MSU?
"They are close. I guess they got a lot of potential. But what I like most about MSU is the fact that they care about me and my family. They are always checking up on them."
And Ole Miss?
"They got a lot of good players going there. I guess they will be good in the long run."
What are USM's positives?
"I heard they have a real good defense. They are always in the top of the nation. I like that."
What stands out about Arkansas?
"I do not really know too much about Arkansas. I have got to go up there and check them out."
Any visits on the horizon this summer?
"No, not yet."
What attracts K.J. to South Carolina?
"They have a real good head coach, and they had a good season last year."
Now that Anthony Summers has graduated for Olive Branch; who will take over the QB reigns for Olive Branch?
"So far, Cannon Smith is suppose to start. I guess he will be out QB next year. He did a good job for us in the 7 on 7 games. Hopefully he will do just as good in the 11 on 11 games."
