Jerry Franklin torn between two

Jerry Franklin (DB, Marion, AR) - Like many players at this stage in the recruiting game, it gets kind of confusing finding the right school.

"I just do not know right now," added Jerry Franklin. "I am going to Arkansas this Saturday for their Sr camp. I am going to compare what they got to what Ole Miss had."

Franklin stated that he was close to committing to the Rebels after he got back from the Ole Miss camp.

"I was thinking about it, but I wanted to give Arkansas a chance before I made a final decision."

Are there anymore colleges in the running for this talented defensive back?

"Not really, it is basically down to those two schools. Miami is running a distant third."

Has Franklin received any new offers?

"No sir, still just Ole Miss, but that could change when I go to Arkansas this weekend."

What got Jerry interested in the Razorbacks?

"I started looking at them because they are my home state school."

And Ole Miss?

"The school is bigger than I thought it was going to be. I also like their recruiter, Hugh Freeze. He is real cool. And it is real close to home. It is only like an hour and fifteen minutes from the crib."

What will Franklin check out while he is at the Arkansas camp?

"Just how I feel. Do I like it there? Is it the place I can spend the next four or five years at?"

Will a decision be made in the near future?

"It will probably be before the season starts, but there is nothing definite about that either. It will just be a feel thing."

Last season Jerry hauled in 15 catches for 520 yards and 8 TD's. Bringing it to the house is a specially of Jerry's as he also returned 3 of his 7 picks for TD's while roaming the defensive backfield.
