Bradley Sowell off to a good start

Bradley Sowell (OL, Hernando, MS) - It is no secret that this year's offensive line class will be critical for the Rebel's future success.

One of the key players they have committed got off to a good start Friday against Memphis Trezmont.

"That was the most physical game I have ever played in," commented the 6' 8", 340 pound Hernando standout, Bradley Sowell.

"They had a wide receiver that is going somewhere. That kid can play. We beat Trezmont 18-8, but they played hard. It was a lot closer than the score. We are a pretty good football team too. It was one of the best games I have ever played."

Sowell had a little pay back from last year's game against Trezmont.

"Last year, I was on the punt team and after the whistle was blown, someone knocked the breath out of me. I have never forgotten that so I took it out on some people. I put some people on the sidelines."

Did Sowell collect any pancakes?

"I probably had around 7 or 8 pancakes and bunch of other good blocks. I had a bunch of good blocks. I drove them away from the ball. I am a a totally different player now than I was last year. I am out to prove that I am the best linemen in the state."

Hernando faces Eupora this upcoming Friday.
