"I have around 60 tackles, 4 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 3 pass deflections, and I do not know how many tackles I have had that were behind the line of scrimmage," stated the very well spoken, Adewale Ojomo.
The 6' 4", 220 pound defensive end has helped
Hieleah to a 6-2 start.
"We lost to N' Western and Central. The two
top ranked teams in the state. We are having a lot of fun out there. Things are
going pretty well for us. I like how we are playing headed into the playoffs."
has taken official visits to Pittsburgh (10/21) and North Carolina State (9/23).
"North Carolina State was awesome. I enjoyed myself. They have real cool coaches. I have
nothing but good things to say about their coaches and players. They put the red
carpet out for me. And Pittsburgh. It was good too. They also have cool coaches.
The one thing I did not like was their weather, but their head coach has that
program going in the right direction. They are doing the right things, but right
now I am leaning towards Miami. I like the weather there, and I feel more comfortable
staying at home. I am leaning there, but I am still keeping my options open. But
that is where I am leaning. You are the first person to hear me say that. I might
commit soon. I am not saying it is going to be Miami. I might commit to another
school, but I could commit as early as late November to early December."
wanted to reiterate that his mind has not completely been made up, yet.
have not made up my mind yet. I need to sit down and talk to my family, friends,
and coaches before I do it. I will do it (talk to his support group) soon.
is set to visit Miami on December 8th; will he take anymore official visits before
making a commitment?
"I might check out Tennessee and Georgia Tech.
I hear Tennessee is a great place to play in front of that crowd. I hear it is
big time football up there. I want to go see what everybody is talking about.
And Georgia Tech, I have family in Atlanta, and I saw what they had against Miami."
had mentioned that he might taken an official visit with Ole Miss in his last
interview with scout.com but failed to mention the Rebels this time.
am not saying they are out of it. They are sending me a lot of letters and still
calling a lot. They are showing me a lot of interest. But I already have North
Carolina State, Miami, and Pittsburgh. I am going to take one or two more visits,
and I will try to check out Georgia Tech and Miami. I do not want to be everywhere.
I want to kind of narrow this thing down."
