Rebels to receive visit from Indiana receiver

Adrien Robinson (WR, Indianapolis, IN) - The Rebels are looking for a couple of tall receivers with some size in this year's class, and one of their key targets resides in Indianapolis.

Adrien is playing for the #1 ranked team in Indiana, Warren Central.

"We are undefeated right now going into the sectional championship Friday against North Central," added Adrien Robinson. "We are doing really well right now."

What has Robinson improved on this season?

"I am better with my routes and my feet are better from the cone drills. That has really helped me out a lot."

Adrien had 21 catches for 386 yards and 3 TD's through nine games and has caught the attention of several of the BCS programs.

"I have been offered by Indiana, West Virginia, Marshall, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Michigan State, Purdue, Ole Miss, and Michigan State."

Has Robinson begun to set up his official visits?

"Yea, I have one with Ole Miss from December 8-10, and Indiana wants me to come for December 1 - 3. I am thinking about taking that one too."

It is no surprise that these two programs are recruiting Robinson the hardest.

"I think Ole Miss and Indiana want me the most. Purdue calls every week too, but Ole Miss sends letters to my parents and no other school does that. It just seems like they take it to that next level."

How did Adrien become interested the Rebels?

"Ole Miss was one of the first schools to send me mail. Not a lot, but then they started sending me more and more. Then they came to a game of mine, and that told me they were pretty serious. I just want to go down there and see what it is like. I would love to play in the SEC."

Indiana also paid Robinson a visit to his school.

"They came to my school last season and talked to me. That is what got me interested in them."

What will Adrien do with his remaining three official visits?

"I want to take one with Arkansas and Louisville. The last one, I am still thinking about."

What stands out about Arkansas?

"I like that their program seems to be doing better. They have a new QB to throw me the ball, I think they will be pretty good for the next couple of years."

And Louisville?

"I went to the Louisville/Miami game. I liked the atmosphere. The fans were really hyped. They come on to the field after the game. That was real cool. The atmosphere was pretty straight."

What will be important for Robinson when it comes decision time?

"I want a place where I can play, and also play for a balanced offense with good academics."

Adrien carries a 2.0 GPA / 18 ACT.
