Vols commit will visit Ole Miss this weekend

Rufus Williams (DE, Titusville, FL) - The one time Ole Miss commitment, who later switched his pledge to the Tennessee Vols, will visit the Rebels after all.

"I promised Ole Miss a long time ago that I would come check it out, and I am going to go up there this weekend," stated the 6' 3", 235 pound, Rufus Williams.

Does Rufus still consider himself a Tennessee commitment?

"Yes I am still committed to Tennessee, but my commitment is a verbal. I still want to take some looks out there and see who has the best offer."

Which colleges are staying in contact with the Astronaut defensive end?

"I still get calls from Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Auburn, West Virginia, Colorado, North Carolina State, and Florida."

Who else would Williams like to check out?

"I am not sure, maybe Florida, if they offer me. North Carolina State is coming after me real hard too, so is Alabama. It is all up in the air. I just know for sure that I am going to visit Tennessee and Ole Miss. They have always been at the top of my list, and I want to see what both of them have and compare the two schools."

When will Rufus visit Tennessee?

"It will be sometime in January for sure."

What made Rufus decommit from Ole Miss, commit to Tennessee, and then decide to take a visit to the Rebels?

"I think I committed too early to Ole Miss, so I wanted to just back off and keep my options open. Then after I looked into things, I decided to go with Tennessee, but I wanted to give Ole Miss a fair shake before making my mind up for good."

Rufus had a 103 tackles and 13 sacks for the season.
