Breaux said he picked Ole Miss for a variety of reasons, but most of them had to do with the closeness of the team.
"You can tell the team is together. The atmosphere is great, the support of the coaching staff with the players is excellent - they take care of their players. All the players I met treated me like a teammate," he continued. "I also like the academics at Ole Miss. I got a chance to meet WR Coach Matt Lubick in person and he's cool."
Besides his football prowess, Breaux is a national figure in prep track. He currently ranks 4th in the nation in the 800 (1:54), "7th or 8th" in the 400 (47.7) and has run a 21.5 200 and 10.8 100 M. He said he will concentrate more on the 100 and 200 this spring and will go for his third straight Louisiana 800 title as well.
Breaux had three more visits planned - Miami, Auburn and Hawaii - but he says he is solid with Ole Miss.
