Can Ole Miss get a visit out of Bama commit?

Lamarcus Williams (DT, Bastrop, LA) - The 6' 1", 295 pound defensive tackle has begun to receive some post season awards for his successful season which saw him collect 42 tackles, 3 sacks, and 7 tackles for losses.

"I made All-State, All-District, and All-N' East," stated Lamarcus Williams.

Williams helped Bastrop to the State Championship and an unblemished 15-0 record, now it is time to focus on his recruitment.

"To be honest, it has been hectic now. Signing day is getting near, and people are calling from everywhere."

The calls have picked up because the college that Lamarcus committed to, Alabama, changed staffs.

"I have been just waiting to see about the Alabama deal. I was waiting to see if everything is OK with that."

What are his thoughts on the Alabama hire?

"I think it is great. It can not get any better than that. They are trying to bring back the winning to Alabama."

What did the Alabama staff say to Lamarcus when they were hired?

"I have not talked to anybody from Alabama yet."

Although Williams has not spoken to the new Alabama staff, he had a prior official visit set with Alabama and will honor that visit.

"I am going to Alabama this weekend. I want to see how everything goes, and then I will make a decision if I am going to go on anymore visits."

Which colleges are wanting Williams to visit?

"Colorado, Ole Miss, LSU, and Arkansas. I want to take some visits, but I want to stay with Alabama and see what is going to happen with them first."
