North Carolina commit switches to Ole Miss

Fonterrian Ingram (S, Atlanta, GA) - Fonterrian committed to North Carolina this past summer, but after taking an official visit to the University of Mississippi this past weekend, he decided Ole Miss was the place to be.

"I am an Ole Miss Rebel," Fonterrian Ingram declared. "The academic rate and graduation rate really attracted me to Ole Miss. I like the small town and it is less trouble for me to get around. Nothing against North Carolina, but I just fit in better at Ole Miss."

Ingram had a chance to bond with a couple of the Rebel commits during his official visit.

"Me, Ted Laurent, and Lawon Scott and a couple more of the recruits just sat down outside the AKA party. We got to know one another. They asked me and Ted what the ATL (Atlanta) was all about. I said if we all stick together, and play ball together, they will find out. And here we are. Everybody is going to just that. I had already made up my mind on the visit that I was going to Ole Miss. I just wanted to tell the North Carolina staff first before I let everyone know."

Does Ingram feel 100% sure about his decision or could there be another possible switch?

"Nope, I feel comfortable with where I am at. I am proud of my decision. Everybody has supported my decision, and that is where I am going to be. I am an Ole Miss Rebel for life."
