Familiar name takes in Ole Miss scrimmage

Terry Levy (WR, Butler CC, MS) - The former Kosciusko standout had a chance to take in a practice with the school he plans to resign with this February.

"I went to their scrimmage on Friday," stated Terry Levy. "I saw they are doing better on defense, and I saw a couple of their WR's make some big plays. Overall, they looked better than they did last year at this time."

Terry has added 20 pounds of bulk since he signed with Ole Miss last February and believes this added muscle can make him an immediate impact player at Ole Miss.

"I will be the go to receiver down field when I get there. From what I saw at practice, I have a weight advantage over the receivers they have right now."

Ole Miss signed Jevan Snead in February and both Terry and Snead will be redshirt sophomores starting in '08.

"I think Jevan did great during the scrimmage. He made a couple of good reads, quick reads, and he has a great arm. I think he is all that he was built up to being. I hope I can be his go to guy."

The Ole Miss staff was happy to see there future receiver at the scrimmage.

"Coach Orgeron was just being Coach O. He was all excited and surprised at how big I have gotten. He thought I looked great."

Why has Levy remained firm with Ole Miss for so long?

"I just like their facilities and Coach Orgeron. They got pretty much everything I need up there."

For now, Scout.com's #25 nationally rated receiver for the '06 class must graduate from Butler CC before enrolling at Ole Miss.

"I started classes at Butler in December. I took a couple of intercession classes and made B's in them. I enrolled full time in January, and I will graduate in May of '08."

How has Terry's experience at Butler CC gone so far?

"It has been great. I have been on my own, and I have met a lot of new people. I am a lot bigger and more physical now. I am up to 6' 3", 220. My upper body has really developed. That is what I needed."
