Where do Rebs stand with S' East 150 member?

Trevor Stigers (DL, Ridgeland, MS) - The 6' 4 1/2", 235 pound defensive end out of Ridgeland had 109 tackles and 14 sacks as a junior. He was named All-Metro by the Clarion Ledger for his on the field accomplishments.

"Pass rushing and techniques are my biggest strengths," added Trevor Stigers. "I run in the low 4.9's, but I want to get that to the 4.7's or 4.6's by the time I graduate."

Stigers believes he learned a lot from his junior campaign.

"I grew up a lot still being a junior. I learned to be a captain of the team, even though it was not in the papers. I learned about being a leader from Michael Antonescu. He led by example, and that is what I am going to do, lead by my play and not my mouth."

Two colleges are recruiting Trevor the hardest right now.

"I still have two offers from Alabama and Mississippi State. Tennessee has started to come on stronger. I have received a few texts from them lately. Memphis is coming on too. That is about it. Hopefully after Spring training, I will get some more looks."

Who else would Trevor like to see recruit him?

"I would love for LSU too. Auburn and actually USM. You would think USM would be all over me, but they are not. Hopefully it will pick up with them."

Stigers has visited three schools this Spring.

"I went to Alabama's Jr Day to visit. I viewed the campus and saw a lot of history at Alabama, which I liked. I went to MSU for Jr Day, and they had a scrimmage practice. I liked their facilities. I visited Ole Miss, but it was just to watch a practice. I toured the campus a little bit, but not as much as I would have liked."

What new did he learn about each school during his visits?

"I did not know Coach Croom was from Alabama, and I did not know Alabama's history was that deep. I loved the atmosphere at Alabama. At MSU, the thing I liked about MSU is that it is also an up and coming program. They are going to be a little bit better, and it is a good football town too. And Ole Miss, they also have a lot of history like Alabama. It was about the same as Alabama. I loved their facilities. That is what I learned about Ole Miss, they have some of the best facilities around, technology too."

Two colleges are now at the top of Trevor's list.

"I like MSU and Alabama. Those are the two that are equal. I can not choose one over the other right now. I like both of them equally well."

Stigers reports a 2.6 GPA / 16 ACT and will attend the Scout.com combine in New Orleans on Saturday.
