Mississippians look to shine at Scout combine

It will look like a who's who list from the Magnolia state today at the Scout.com All-American combine in New Orleans today.

Leading the pact will be S' East 150 members WR DeAndre Brown (#17), S Darius Barksdale (#21), DL Andre Wadley (#39), Templeton Hardy (#58), DT Bo Tillman (#113), DL Trevor Stigers (#144).

Other players from the Magnolia state that are being heavily recruited by D1 programs are LB Josh Chestang, LB Bradley Jacobs, CB Charles Mitchell, OL Cameron Wagner, OL Quin Sanford, OL Jermarcus Sanford, WR Bruce Wilbourn, DT Templeton Hardy, TE Bobby Peterson, CB Dominique Davenport, OL John Paul Alford, QB Chris Garrett (Jr), CB William Moore, DL Joshua Jackson, WR Chavez Virgil, Auburn commit Drew Cole, and DE Joshua Tillman.

S' East 150 member Ken Davis, the state's top running back, will be participating in the state track meet on Saturday and will attend the Scout.com All-American combine in Atlanta instead.

One of the top overall players in Mississippi, Kendrick Presley, pulled a hamstring in today's baseball game. He will have to miss this event and is committed to attend the combine in Atlanta in May.

Overall, we look for Mississippi to be well represented when the first whistle blows at the Saints training facility at 11:00 am.
