Mississippi lineman ready to commit?
"Auburn, Ole Miss came, and Marshall offered me a scholarship the other day," commented Michael Lacy. "They came down, and a couple more teams camedown like Alabama and LSU stopped by. They came down to look at my tape, but they said they are not going to offer me. I guess I am going with either Auburn or Ole Miss or Marshall."
Could there be a leader out of the three?
"I am thinking about verbally committing to Auburn. That is what I am talking about with my coach."
What has the Tigers out in front?
"They have a good program. Auburn was the first school to offer me. I have been to their campus. I like their educational programs. I have this thing for Auburn because they got the whole thing going. If it were not for them, Ole Miss would have never offered me. They saw that Auburn offered me, and then they offered me."
When could this commitment take place?
"I am thinking about sometime this week. I am thinking about doing it when I get in touch with Coach Dunn, sometime this week."
Has Michael discussed his intentions with the other schools who are still recruiting him?
"No, I am still thinking about Ole Miss some. They have a really good law school. I am like 90% sure on Auburn but not 100% yet. But Auburn is my top choice."
What has Lacy wanting to go ahead and making an early commitment?
"I want to do it before my season starts. I have been thinking about it a lot the past month. I am just thinking about where I want to go, as far as football and educational wise. Like I said, it is not a 100% done deal that I will do it this week, but I am ready to get it over with."
