"I thought I had a really good camp," added Toby Jackson. "I learned a lot. It strengthened my techniques and skills. I also liked their coaches a lot. I like how they get after it."
Toby was taught one technique that he believes will really help his game out in the future.
"They showed me the proper hand placement. I learned the right way to use them. They kept telling us that speed and hand placement were the keys to pass rushing. I already knew that, but I did not know the proper way to use my hands. I think it is really going to help my game out."
Toby Jackson chats with OM head coach, Ed Orgeron
Rebel head coach, Ed Orgeron,
tutored NFL greats like Warren Sapp and Cortez Kennedy. This has made an impact
"I really like the fact that Coach O is a defensive line minded coach. He knows his stuff. I look at his background and see how many players he has put in the NFL. it certainly has caught my attention. I think he is one of the best DL coaches in the country. You can tell that he really cares about his players, and he is all about winning. That is what I like about Ole Miss."
The facilities at Ole Miss also made an impression.
"They look really good. They have some very impressive facilities. I toured it all, from their indoor facility, to their training room, to their weight room, to their locker room. They have a good training staff too. I was just really impressed with their facilities."
Toby has not listed the Rebels amongst his favorites before the camp. What intrigued Toby to attend?
"Because Ole Miss is one of the top schools I am thinking about signing. I am trying to go to as many camps as I can so I can see how they run their program. I just think it will help a lot when I am ready to make a decision."
Where will Toby camp at next?
"Next weekend I am suppose to go Auburn. The
weekend after that, I am going to Clemson, then Florida, FSU, Georgia and Tennessee.
I am going to attend as many as I can so I can make my final decision."
Which colleges did Jackson visit before the camp tour began?
"Alabama, FSU, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee."
Who are main players for the Jackson's sweepstakes?
"Georgia, Alabama, Florida, FSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Clemson. All of those schools have offered me, and I would love to visit all of those schools this summer."
