Did the fact that Sanford had two of his teammates going to Ole Miss with him help make his decision easier?
"Yea, but I would
have gone over there anyway. All my cousins play for Ole Miss. John Jerry, Peria Jerry, Jamarca Sanford, Chris Strong, just all of my kins.
It is going to be like one big family over there."
held the lead for Quinn's services until recently.
"They just were not talking my language like Ole Miss. See at first, I was not thinking about committing to Ole Miss, but then they talked to me good during my visit, and I really like their campus. I can just see myself playing with all of my cousins."
The Ole Miss staff was also a selling point for Sanford.
Orgeron, and Kehoe; we are all tight. I like all of them. They are like one of
my buddies, not like a coach. They just have so much energy up there."
That energy came out when Sanford informed Coach Orgeron of his decision.
"They just started hollering and stuff. All of that energy came out. Coach Orgeron asked me if I was ready to strap it on and put my Rebel pads on. I said lets go."
And what would be Quinn's message to the Ole Miss family?
"Hotty Toddy, I am on my way."
