Rebels still after Georgia lineman?

Omoregie Uzzi (OG, Chamblee, GA) - One of the top offensive guard prospects in the state of Georgia just returned back from an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech.

"I went to Georgia Tech for a camp. I did not participate; I just watched," added Omoregie Uzzi.

What new did Uzzi learn about the Yellow Jackets?

"Nothing really. I have been over there a few times already. I have watched a few practices and things like that."

Has Omoregie tripped anywhere else this summer?

"No, that is it. I do not know if I will make it to anymore camps, but I will take some visits."

Where would he like to visit?

"All of the schools who have been recruiting me. You know, Auburn, Virginia, Central Florida, UGA, Clemson, and Alabama"

Has each school offered?

"Yes sir. I also have offers from Maryland, Memphis, Vandy, Duke, Ole Miss, and Georgia."

Are the schools who have offered, but Uzzi did not list as a potential visit, still actively recruiting the young man?

"Maryland has been consistent. Ole Miss has not been contacting me this summer. I have not heard from Vandy since May. Duke, I have not heard from them in a while. Memphis does call every now and then."

Which college is coming after Uzzi the hardest?

"I would have to say Georgia Tech. They are just more consistent. I just know a lot of people who associate themselves with Georgia Tech, so it seems like I am always around them."

Who else is showing consistency in their recruitment of Uzzi?

"Virginia sends a lot of mail and texts. Georgia and Alabama are pretty consistent, and that is about it. Auburn has been texting me a lot lately, but that really is all I can think of."

Has Omoregie set a time frame on when he would like to make a decision?

"I wanted to make one before the start of the season, but I do not see that working out now. If he does, it does. If it does not, I am not going to worry about it."
