Delwan Graham visiting UM

A "perfect player" for Andy Kennedy's style - 6-6 F Delwan Graham from Dunwoody, GA - will take his official visit to Ole Miss this weekend. Read about it inside.

He travels all over the country in the summer to AAU tournaments and camps looking at potential college hoops talent.

It did not surprise him when he learned that Delwan Graham, a 6-6 forward from Dunwoody, GA, is taking an official visit to Ole Miss this weekend.

"Delwan Graham is a perfect player for Andy Kennedy and Ole Miss," said Goodman. "He would fit into what Andy likes to do as well as anyone in the country. He is an excellent transition player and loves to go up and down the court.

"I can tell you this - nobody in the country plays harder than Delwan. He gets after it. He outplays guys because his motor never stops. He was made to play for a team that employs the transition game like AK does."

Graham, who is no relation to Reb freshman Zach Graham - but they are friends, is a 210-pounder who has, Goodman said, excellent strength and athleticism.

"He's extremely tough," Goodman said of Graham, who played with the Atlanta Celtics AAU team. "Delwan is strong and quick and can lock up on anyone defensively at the 3 or 4. He's an explosive leaper.

"I believe he can play anywhere in the country, for any team. His basketball skills needs some developing, but as athletic and strong and aggressive as he is, that is only a matter of time. Like I said, he would excel in Andy's up tempo style, there is no doubt in my mind."

The visit this weekend to Ole Miss will be Delwan's first official visit. He is also set to visit South Carolina, Auburn, Cincy and LSU.

"With the players Kennedy has already recruited, Delwan would be a great piece to his puzzle," Goodman closed.
