Coach O: We had a good week's work in this week. I think the guys are ready to play. Seth Adams practiced today and I expect him to start against Florida. I think he's OK and ready to go.
Q: So he threw the ball better today?
Coach O: Yes, a little bit and I think he's only goin to get better as the week goes on.
Q: Did you get Corey Actis or John Jerry back in the lineup today?
Coach O: We got both of them back as well and I think they will be fine and will be ready to play. It felt good to get them back out there.
Q: What did you concentrate on today?
Coach O: Like every Thursday, we went over our special teams and we went against the service team in Red Zone and goalline. We also go over the plays that have given us the most problems during the week and try to fix them.
Q: How tough was it to simulate their speed?
Coach O: We had Jevan Snead at QB and he looked very good. He made some good plays. I think we did a good job simulating them. We had some quick receivers, but I'm not sure if they are as fast as Florida's. Jevan was the difference though. He has surprising speed and an uncanny ability to run the ball. He made a lot of touchdowns running the ball this week. He would be suited to run their offense. He ran the spread in high school and has run it each week this year in practice and has done a great job. He made some excellent reads in the option game.
Q: Was BenJarvus Green-Ellis back today?
Coach O: Yes. He did fine.
Q: Have DTs Ted Laurent and Lawon Scott continued to improve?
Coach O: Yes, they are doing fine. Having Kentrell Lockett back will also help us. We need a pass rusher and we think he's ready to go.
Q: How did Ashlee Palmer look today?
Coach O: He's banged up, but I think he will be fine by Saturday.
Q: What does it mean to have Seth back?
Coach O: Continuity. He gets done what we want done at the quarterback position. We built our offense on his consistency, so we need him in there.
Q: How has kickoff coverage looked?
Coach O: We changed some things. We will see how they work on Saturday.
