Rebs still on top for Josh Chestang

Josh Chestang (LB, Moss Point, MS) - The 2006 All-State performer has helped the Tigers to a 4-1 start this season and a 34-0 thumping of Stone County last Friday.

"We played our best game against Stone County," added Josh Chestang. "The offensive line has been doing their job and our defense is bending but not breaking."

Josh had his best game against Stone County.

"Coach recorded 6 tackles, 6 QB hurries, and 2 sacks."

Playing defensive end is not easy when opponents are running to the other side of the field.

"To tell you the truth, not many teams have been running to my side. Nobody is trying me yet, but hopefully I can get some more action in these last five games."

Will Chestang get a chance to move back to linebacker?

"They put me in at linebacker in our first game, but they have been playing me at end ever since."

Which colleges are staying in phone contact right now?

"Every Monday, well not every Monday but most Monday's, Ole Miss gives me a call. Other than that, I just get a bunch of letters from Mississippi State."

Chestang did get a chance to take in two college games.

"I went to the LSU/Virginia Tech and USM/TN Martin games."

Anymore on tap?

"I think I am headed over to Ole Miss when they play Alabama, and I want to go up to a Mississippi State game too."

Does Josh have a leader?

"Ole Miss is still at the top of my list."
