MS Juco receiver turning heads

Chris Wilson (WR, ICC, MS) - The Amory (MS) native has become one of the top play makers in the Mississippi juco ranks this season.

"I have 30 catches for 580 yards and 6 TD's so far," added Chris Wilson. "Pretty much all of my touchdowns have been big catches. It has gone good so far."

How did Wilson perform his freshman season?

"I had 39 catches for 561 yards and 6 TD's"

"I was named All-Region and I named to the preseason All-American team."

"I have the ability to get open and catch the fade route. I use my size to my advantage.

"I ran a 4.57 for scout day. That was the last time I was recorded."

"I guess you could say that (laugh). I am getting weekly calls from Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama, Southern Miss, and La Tech."

"Ole Miss and Oklahoma State."

Has Wilson attended any college games this fall?

"I went to the Ole Miss/Florida game."

"I am going to the MSU/Alabama game, and I am going to take an official visit to Oklahoma State in November to see a game of theirs."

"Ole Miss, Alabama, and Oklahoma State. That is about it."

"It's just right down the road from home and they need a big receiver."


"I like their coaches. They have Nick Saban. We talk a lot. He is a cool guy."

"I like the way they spread the ball on the field. They just like to throw the ball."

"I get out in May."
