Rebels still interested in Tenarius Wright?

The 6' 1", 250 pound linebacker out of Whitehaven had a solid senior season.

"I had close to 80 tackles and 3 pass deflections," added Tenarius Wright. "I was named All-Region, All-Shelby County, and Team MVP at our banquet."

The season led him to being selected to the Liberty Bowl all-star classic last Saturday.

"We ended up losing 21-13 to the Blue team. It was a good experience though."

Who was the best player he faced at the game?

"It would have to be RB Travis Simpson from Millington. H.R. Greer from SBEC was real good too."

Anymore all-star games on tap?

"I was invited to the East TN vs KY game, but I do not think I am going to play in it anymore. I need to focus on my recruiting."

Now that the focus has shifted to recruiting, which colleges will he visit?

"I am going to Kentucky (1/11), Arkansas (1/18), Memphis (1/25), and North Carolina (2/2) on the last weekend before signing day."

Any recent inhome visits?

"Memphis, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Arkansas came by last week."

Who is coming after him the hardest?

"Kentucky, Arkansas, and North Carolina."

What would it take for Arkansas to turn his commitment from soft to solid?

"I guess when I go on the visits, I will see if it is the place for me or not."

Arkansas' former coach, Houston Nutt, is now the head coach at Ole Miss. Does Wright have any interest in the Rebels?

"Coach Nutt called me the other day, and I tried to call him back but I have not gotten in touch with him."
