Hargrave duo had 'great' visit

Hargrave RB Enrique Davis and WR Andrew Harris were "bowled over" by Ole Miss on their official visits. Read about it inside.

Highly-touted Running Back Enrique Davis and Wide Receiver Andrew Harris, both from Hargrave, said their official visits to Ole Miss were "excellent," and the Rebels are now at the top of their respective lists.

"Ole Miss has a lot going for it," said Davis. "Coach (Houston) Nutt is a player's coach. You can tell the way he greets and treats everyone. I like that. You can tell he's going to have a successful program at Ole Miss - you can just feel it.

"I also hit it off with Coach (Derrick) Nix, the RB coach. He's cool. It is a good thing for me too that Jared (Mitchell) is at Ole Miss - he's my boy. The tradition, the pride in the program, the facilities were all special."

Enrique said the Rebs are "at the top of my list" but there is no real pecking order with all the schools recruiting him.

"I like them all - Oregon, who I will visit next weekend; UT, who I will visit the weekend after that; Auburn, Florida State, Maryland and Ole Miss all have something to offer," he said. "I want to give them all a good look before deciding. This decision will affect the rest of my life."

Davis was committed to Auburn but decommitted when they went to a spread offense in the offseason.

"Coach (Eddie) Gran is coming to see me next week to show me what they plan on doing with me in the spread, but that is why I decommitted from there," he explained.

Harris was just as impressed with the Rebel program.

"There is an 80% chance I will commit to Ole Miss. I had a great time there," Harris said. "I am very close to Jared and I really had a great visit, a really great visit."

Auburn, North Carolina, NC State, Maryland and Virginia Tech are also in the running for Harris' services.

"Right now, Ole Miss is the leader and I may commit before I leave campus," he said. "We'll see."
