Garrett Faircloth update -

Bolles School Offensive Lineman Garrett Faircloth has narrowed his final decision on which college to attend to three schools. He said he will decide "in the next few days" where he will attend. Read about it inside.

Garrett Faircloth, a 6-6 1/2 270-pound offensive lineman from the Bolles School in Jacksonville, FL, said he is close to making a final decision on which school he wants to attend and his list is narrowed down to three, in no particular order.

"I was committed to Central Florida earlier, but I have changed my mind on that. In fact, I'm not going to visit there," said Faircloth. "I have been to Vanderbilt, Florida State and Ole Miss and those are the three schools who I am considering."

Faircloth was adamant there is no clear leader at the moment.

"I really enjoyed my visit over the weekend to Ole Miss. Coach (Houston) Nutt has a great personality and you can tell people respond to him," said Garrett. "The facilities? Everyone has nice facilities. I am looking for a good match with the people."

He said he "got along" with Rebel OL Coach Mike Markuson.

"It's obvious he is a great coach and we seemed to get along easily," Faircloth assessed.

Garrett played defensive line at Bolles the past two years, but he understands his future is on the OL.

"I don't think playing on the offensive line will be difficult to pick up," said Garrett, who has been at the Bolles School for two years and will enroll in the college of his choice this summer as a true freshman. "I will probably be a left tackle, which is great because it is the most challenging position on the OL, it seems like."

When will he make his final decision?

"Soon - this week, but I promise you I am not leaning anywhere right now," he closed.
