Hunter Miller gives Ole Miss 25th verbal

The Rebels have been busy rounding out their '08 recruiting class over their last few days as they received their 5th verbal commitment in as many days.

The Sylvan Hills HS (Sherwood, AR) safety prospect told Ole Miss Coach Houston Nutt he would be a Rebel tonight.

Hunter Miller, a 6-1, 185-pounder with 4.5 speed, played QB and S in high school. As a senior, he rushed for over a 1,000 yards and passed for over 1,000 yards. He also had 45 tackles and 2 picks for TDs on defense.

"Coach Shibest was in here tonight and after he left I talked to my parents about it. Ole Miss was a fit for me, so I called Coach (Houston) Nutt and committed. I am cancelling my visit to Arkansas for this weekend. I am done," said Miller.

Miller made All-State and All-Metro at Sylvan Hills for the '07 campaign..

"Ole Miss treated me great and the coaches wanted me. That's an easy decision to make," he closed.
