Horatio Williams Update -

Ole Miss has a solid group of speedy wideouts returning, and one commitment from close by should bolster the position.

Horatio Williams (6-2, 175) took in the Ole Miss campus over the weekend for his official visit, and the Oxford High standout was able to see some things for the first time.

"I was showed the entire campus and all the academic things available," Williams said. "Some of the buildings I saw for the first time. I really like the place and am comfortable there."

Williams was also able to sit down with Houston Nutt and go over his possible role.

"Coach talked about spreading the ball out and letting me use my speed," said the athlete that has been clocked with a 4.32 40 time. "With Jevan at quarterback, we will be balanced and able to move down the field. It is exciting to have that kind of scheme with a quarterback and receivers that can deliver."

What is next for Williams?

"I'm not taking anymore visits. It is Ole Miss, and I will sign as soon as I can."

The speedster is one of the state's top track stars as well with the ability to run the 100 meters in 10.7 seconds.
