"We had a good season," stated Aaron Hawkins. "We finished 12-1 but lost to Walton in the 3rd round of the playoffs."

What kind of stats did the talented center have?

"To be honest, I'm not really sure. I don't keep up with that. I just try and help my team win."

What schools are recruiting you the hardest right now?

"I would say Ole Miss, Troy and Miami Ohio."

Which of those schools have offered?

"Miami Ohio and Troy have offered. Troy offered me this past weekend"

Are any schools close to offering you a scholarship?

"I think Ole Miss is really close but I'm not sure. We've had some very good conversations."

Will you talk about each school recruiting you?

Ole Miss - "I don't know much about them. Their coaches have come by my house a few times. They've been recruiting me since Coach Nutt was hired there. The new staff at Ole Miss recruited me a little when they were at Arkansas. They tell me they are looking for someone with athletic ability. I am visiting Ole Miss this weekend (1/25) with my parents. I look forward to seeing their academic support and their depth chart."

Troy - I visited Troy last weekend (1/18). They offered me. I really enjoyed myself. I like their coaches a lot.

Miami Ohio - I have not visited them yet. I am waiting to hear back from them.

Do you have a leader right now?

"No, I do not. I'm going to wait for the right moment before I commit."

What do you feel is your greatest strength as an offensive lineman?

"I think my greatest strength is the ability to break down linebackers and defensive backs on screens, draws or in the open field."
