Dalton, GA, Middle Linebacker Jake McIntosh did not get a scholarship offer from Ole Miss Coach Houston Nutt, but he had a good meeting with the Rebel mentor.
"He told me he was in a numbers crunch right now for scholarships, but he would love for me to come to Ole Miss and play for him," McIntosh said. "I will have to think everything over, but I had an awesome time there on my visit.
"I thought the guys on the team were fantastic and it was just a great time all together for me and my parents."
Jake, who played at AAAA (AAAAA is highest classification in Georgia) Dalton High School, is also considering scholly offers from Georgia Southern, Tennessee Tech and UT-Chattanooga.
"I don't know what I want to do right now, but I have options to consider," he said.
McIntosh had 130 tackles, 1 interception and 2 forced fumbles his senior season. For his efforts, he was named All-Region, All-Area and All-Tri-State.
