Arkansas two way star commits to Ole Miss

The 6' 5" 230 pound DE out of Dolloway left from his official visit on Arkansas on Sunday and called Coach Nutt on Monday morning to let him know the big news.

"Ferbia called Coach Nutt early this morning to let him know he was coming to Ole Miss," added Coach Shelton at Dollarway. "It was a real tough decision for him between Arkansas and Ole Miss but he felt real comfortable with Coach Nutt."

Allen was a two way star for Dollarway as he led his team to the State Championship game. He finished the year with 75 tackles, 14 sacks at defensive end and had over 500 receiving yards and 5 TD's at TE.

Which position does Coach Shelton believe is best suited for Allen on the next level?

"I think he has a lot of upside at defensive end. He is so quick off of the ball and has speed like a linebacker. He has unlimited potential on either side of the ball, but he is a ready made at defensive end and I know that is where Ole Miss is recruiting him, DE."

Coach Shelton was just as high on Allen as the person as he is the player.

"Ferbia is a leader on and off of the field. The whole team looks up to him. He is a role model for people around these parts. Ferbia is a high character kid who is going to give you 100% on the field and in the classroom. He is a full qualifier and one of our better students at the school."
