"I went to one camp, Alabama, and I am going to Ole Miss on the 26th," added Gabriel Hunter
How did the Alabama camp go?
What did the Alabama coaches say to Gabriel?
"They were watching me a lot. They were constantly talking to me a lot. They were really paying a lot of attention to me."
What did Hunter learn about the Tide during the trip?
"I met all of their coaches and got a chance to check out the campus for the second time. I like their coaches a lot. I like Alabama a lot."
Gabriel will check out another school that is high on his list on the 26th of July.
"I am going to go down there (Ole Miss) on the 26th to see what is up. I like Ole Miss a lot. I am going to see what they are all about on the 26th. I know coach Nix keeps telling me that I am going to be blown away with how everything is set up down there. I like coach Nix a lot. I just want to get to know the coaches better and see how they are looking and check out the campus."
Which coaches has Gabriel stayed in contact with during the dead period?
"I have not been talking to the schools lately. I have been practicing every day, but I am paying attention to a lot of schools. I am just now talking to any of them right now."
Who else is at the top of Hunter's list?
"I would say Alabama and Ole Miss are up there, and I am still liking Tennessee, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Louisville, and Auburn."
Has each of those schools offered Gabriel a scholarship?
"Yes sir, Texas Tech and some more have offered me too, but those seven are pretty much the main ones right now."
Any time frame on when a decision will come?
"I am going to make it before my season starts."
What will be the main factors?
"I just want to check out the campus and get to know the coaches and see if I can fit in their offense. I also want a chance to play. Do not get me wrong, I do not mind being redshirted, but I want a chance to play early."
Anymore visits on tap after Ole Miss?
"No sir, Ole Miss will be my last visit."
