Moore had a chance to take in the Ole Miss Sr camp a couple weeks back and enjoyed his experience.
What did Moore learn about himself at the camp?
"Nothing that I really did not already know. Coach Kent Austin is such a good teacher. He pounded my footwork about getting into the base when I throw. If I get into the base, I always make the throw. When I say this, I am not saying it because he is going to be my coach, I mean it. I really do not think there is a better QB coach in college football than Coach Austin. It is amazing how much I learn everytime I around him. I learn a lot by just listening to him on the phone when we talk. I can't wait to see how far he can take me. It is going to be a fun ride."
Moore also had a chance to bond with a few of the other staff members.
"Everytime I am around those guys, we all get looser around each other. Then you start acting yourself, and I get more and more comfortable around them.
It is no secret that Clayton has been one of Ole Miss' recruiters. Who did the 6' 2", 205 pounder bond with at the Ole Miss camp?
"Me, Dennis Thames, Kendrick Hardy, Kevin Norwood, Chad Bumphis, and Montez Phillips hung out mostly. I have known Chad, and of course Dennis, for a while now, but that was the first time I had really gotten to know Kendrick, Montez and Kevin. We all talk a lot now."
Where does Ole Miss fit in with those players?
"I feel like Norwood, Montez, Dennis, and Kendrick feel strong about Ole Miss But of course, just like everybody else, they all have some other schools on their list too, so hopefully we can pull some strings to get them over here."
