Victor Gray, a 6-4 235-pound defensive end prospect from Dr. Phillips HS in Orlando, FL, visited Ole Miss over the weekend and left with a good taste in his mouth.
"Ole Miss and Oxford are smaller than what I am used to being from Orlando, but I can see myself fitting in there and being able to adjust," said Gray. "They - the coaches and players - did everything right for my taste on my visit. Ole Miss is at the top of my list right now. And I was also excited to see their facilities - they are tops."
Victor was impressed with the interaction between the coaches and players.
"The bond they have between them is very strong. You can tell they genuinely like each other and are very close, like a family," Gray, who wants to major in business, said. "They make you feel welcome, I can see myself fitting in on that team. They are a real team."
Gray is also considering Kansas State, Iowa State, Colorado State and Central Florida.
"Distance is no factor for me," he closed. "I am just looking for the best fit. I will take all my visits before I decide, but I have nothing but good things to say about Ole Miss."
Gray was hosted by freshman Defensive Tackle Justin Smith on his visit.
