Fall Signing Period (December 17th - January 15th)
**What can Ole Miss expect on the first day of the early signing period?
The only thing we know for sure is that OT Logan Clair is set to sign his letter of intent today.
The 6' 5", 320 pound N' East Okl CC product told us last night that he will sign his letter of intent around noon.
**Are there anymore possibilities on the board?
The Rebels brought in 4-Star WR Tyrece Gaines last weekend, but he is scheduled to visit Oregon this weekend.
The 6' 2", 215 pound Butler CC product informed us through text last night that he expects to make a decision, "at some point next week. Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Oregon are still under consideration, and I will make my decision at some point next week.""
**There is also a chance that 5-Star LB Eltoro Freeman could be wavering with his Auburn commitment now that Coach Willis was let go.
Eltoro is going to give newly hired head coach, Gene Chizik, a chance to state their case tomorrow before making his mind up for sure.
If Freeman is not happy with the situation at Auburn, you could possibly see the Rebels land the Mississippi Gulf Coast CC product as Ole Miss has spent a lot of time recruiting the young man for the past year and have always been his second choice.
We do not expect any final answers to come tomorrow, unless Freeman
decides to go ahead and ink with Auburn.
**Is that It?
There is actually one more possibility, not probability that could sign at some point in the early signing period. We can not reveal his name at this point, but we will when the timing is right.
**How many slots does Ole Miss have for the Fall Signing Period?
They can sign as many as they need, but they all count against the 25 number for the February signing period.
In other words, they can put 25 signees on scholarship total from the December and February signing classes.
