"It went real well," the three-star safety said. "It was better than I expected."
Kellam has never wavered from his commitment to the Rebels. Did anything change this weekend?
"I'm 101 percent committed to Ole Miss," Kellam said. "This is where everyone needs to go."
Scout.com's No.121 rated safety was hosted by junior Demareo Marr and Kellam liked what the cornerback had to say.
"He kept everything good," he said. "He explained how their system works and everything about the defense Ole Miss runs. He was cool. We went out Friday and basically chilled all day Saturday. We bonded real well."
Artice was joined on his visit by Gulliver Prep teammate Frank Crawford, who is also an Ole Miss commit. Kellam said the duo talked to other recruits about joining them as Rebels.
"I told them this is the only place they need to be," he explained. "Everybody needs to be here. It's the only place to go."
Kellam met with head coach Houston Nutt before heading back to Florida this morning. How did the meeting go?
"It went very well," said Kellam. "He let me know where I stand and told me I had a chance to play. They're going to play me at either corner or safety."
Does the safety have a particular preference in which position he'll play at the next level?
"I don't care where they put me," he said. "I just want to play."
Artice doesn't plan on visiting anymore colleges after tripping to Oxford.
"I'm not going on anymore visits," he said. "Ole Miss is home for me."
Kellam Firmly Committed
