ScoutTV Presents: Button and Basham

ScoutTV presents interviews with Diamond Rebels Evan Button and Brett Basham. View the videos inside.

Button, who went 3-for-5 with a home run and 2 RBI in the Rebs' first spring intrasquad, talks of last season's injury that sidelined him for most of 2008 and the veteran leadership on this year's squad.

The redshirt junior started all 13 games in which he played, hitting .293 with eight RBI and one home run.

Basham spoke of the team's first spring practice on Sunday and the offseason work he's done to improve his game.

Basham opted to return to school despite being selected in the 16th round of the 2008 draft by the Chicago White Sox.

The senior catcher started all 65 games for the Rebels, catching 97 percent of innings played last season.
