Nutt: ‘He's had some awfully bad luck'

The Ole Miss football team was dealt a blow Wednesday, as head coach Houston Nutt announced that senior DE Greg Hardy will be sidelined the remainder of the year with a wrist injury. View the video inside.

Confirmed shortly following practice by Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt, oft-injured defensive end Greg Hardy will undergo season-ending wrist surgery Thursday, ending the senior's career as a Rebel.

Though considered among the nation's top pass rushers, Hardy has struggled with various injuries throughout his career. Along with his ailing wrist, Hardy had to endure two foot surgeries before the season began.
