Ole Miss entered a 2:30 p.m. meeting with No. 8 LSU on CBS with plenty to play for.

Not only were the Rebels vying for head position for a trip to the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Fla., but their first home win over the Tigers since 1998.

But as the clock struck zero on a thrilling 25-23 Ole Miss win, a Houston Nutt led team now 7-0 in November in his two years of tutelage is in prime position to play in consecutive January bowls for the first time since 1964.

Shortly following the win, Nutt stopped by the team meeting room of the IPF to speak with the media.

Quarterback Jevan Snead, running back Dexter McCluster and wide receiver Shay Hodge also chimed in with their thoughts on the nail-biting win.
