Austin: 'Their defense is very active'

Amidst dreary conditions in Oxford, No. 20 Ole Miss hit the practice fields in shorts and shells in prep for in-state rival Mississippi State Saturday. View the video inside.

Come Saturday, Mississippi State will be riding a two-game skid since a Halloween road win at Kentucky. But considering the significance of the 106th Egg Bowl meeting, don't expect No. 20 Ole Miss to take these Bulldogs lightly.

The Rebels returned to the practice fields Tuesday, as prep for a MSU squad that boasts the fourth-best rushing attack in the SEC is underway.

Shortly following the spirited session in shorts and shells, Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt, defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix and offensive coordinator Kent Austin all stopped by to speak with the media.
