Nutt: 'You just appreciate this time'

As Ole Miss took to the IPF to continue Cotton Bowl prep, some new faces mixed with the old for a two-hour, full-pad skirmish. Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt was obviously excited about the newcomers. View the video inside.

Ole Miss resumed Cotton Bowl preparations Saturday morning, taking to the IPF for a spirited session in full pads.

And for a few Rebel hopefuls, the two-hour practice meant the first time they were allowed to join the team. Linebacker Mike Marry, center Evan Swindall, defensive end Cameron Whigham and safety Darius "Tig" Barksdale were all in the fold, as they received extensive action.

Shortly following practice, Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt shared his thoughts with the media on the talented newcomers.
