While the 2009 season is officially in the books following a 21-7 Ole Miss win in the 74th annual AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, it's back to work for head coach Houston Nutt.
With National Signing Day around the corner, Nutt plans to spend much of the month of January in the homes and high schools of prospective recruits. There's also a little matter of possible early departures to the NFL, including junior quarterback Jevan Snead.
But now with back-to-back nine-win seasons under his belt, Nutt said there's been a renewed enthusiasm on the recruiting trail. Even more, the second-year head coach sees his program's momentum on a steady incline.
