In two conference losses, No. 22 Ole Miss has endured its fair share of struggles.
The Rebels (13-4, 1-2 SEC) lost the rebounding battle in both contests, struggled in turnovers and failed to protect late second half leads.
But even more disconcerting, a few players, namely sophomore forward Murphy Holloway, have disappeared as the schedule turns toward the midway point of the SEC slate.
Before conference play began, Holloway averaged 11.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds. He had already posted three double-doubles on the season, and terrorized the storied Hoosiers of Indiana with 26 points.
However, in a dreadful three-game set, Holloway's line reads a meager 4.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
Speaking with the media Monday, Holloway dissected his mini-slump, and what corrections he's making in practice to break out.
