Decision Time for Williams?

Gulliver Prep (Miami) Linebacker Ralph Williams had the kind of visit he was hoping for to Ole Miss, but he's still got some thinking to do and a decision to make between Ole Miss and Tennessee. Read about it inside.

Gulliver Prep (Miami, FL) Linebacker Ralph Williams didn't hesitate when asked what he liked about Ole Miss after his official visit this weekend.

"The food was great," laughed the personable 6-1, 222-pounder. "Actually, everything was great.

"I really liked the coaches and the players I met. They were all cool, and I was very impressed with how the facilities are all under one roof, so to speak. It's all right there for you to take advantage of and to develop in."

Williams, who committed to UT when Lane Kiffin was the coach, said he's down to two schools - Ole Miss and Tennessee - and will not make a decision until Signing Day.

"No, sir, I really don't have a favorite right now. They are both great places. I feel blessed to have it down to those two schools," he said. "To have two SEC opportunities and offers is what I was hoping for in the beginning."

Williams did sit up and take notice with one aspect, besides the food - the opportunity at Ole Miss to play quickly.

"I know Ole Miss is thin at linebacker and I feel like I can come in and compete for playing time early in my career," he closed.

Ole Miss or UT? Only time will tell, but taking him at his word, the chances to get Ralph Williams are 50-50, much better than when he committed to the Vols.
