Several things stuck out to the Florida speedster.
"It was just really great the way they showed us everything - the fantastic academic facility, the way things are under one roof for our development as football players, going out to Coach (Houston) Nutt's house to soak in some family atmosphere. It was all really good."
Scott, who has been an elusive interview since he committed to Ole Miss, also had good interaction with the current Rebel players he hung with on his visit.
"I was with some other Florida guys - Frank Crawford, Charles Sawyer, Alex Williams, Rodney Scott - and they all told me how much they like it at Ole Miss," he noted. "That means a lot when you hear it from your peers."
Another factor that convinced Jeff he made the right decision was his meeting with Running Backs Coach Derrick Nix.
"Coach Nix showed me all the plays and pass protections and what they plan on doing with me," he continued. "I think I can handle all of it and I think it suits my skills. They are talking about using me a lot like they did Dexter McCluster if I am up to it and I think that's perfect for me because I think we are a lot alike."
Scott declared his commitment to Ole Miss is solid, but he is going to visit FIU next weekend.
"I promised them I would so I am going to visit," he closed.
