There's never a dull moment on National Signing Day, and Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt's customary press conference was no exception.
Nutt, fresh off the second of consecutive top-15 signing classes, met with the media in the team meeting of the IPF this afternoon. Among the topics discussed was the competition for in-state recruits, as well as those few that seemed to slip away.
Wednesday, Ole Miss received a noticeable boost in the national rankings with the additions of, among others, four-star wide receiver Vincent Sanders and four-star defensive end Delvin Jones. Each was a signing day decision, along with three-star linebacker Ralph Williams.
With an average star rating of 3.24, the Rebels currently rank 13th in the nation and fifth in the SEC, according to Scout.com.
Nutt: 'It's an exciting day for us'
